The first name on this list might surprise you, but the former Women’s Champion Paige is indeed someone who is highly anticipated for a return in 2022. The former women’s Champion suffered a career-threatening neck injury during a WWE live event in late 2017. She was told she would never wrestle again, meaning her career was over at just 25.
However, looking at her Twitter posts where she has was teasing her in-ring return almost throughout 2021, one could assume that the former Women’s Champion could make her highly anticipated return in 2022. Will it be Royal Rumble PPV or at any other juncture?- This remains interesting to be known.

WWE in 2022: The Rock
The rumor mill was loud and clear about the Rock’s return to WWE. However, despite all the buildup, especially before the Survivor Series PPV event, The Great One never returned.

It was assumed that The Rock would have a program with his cousin Roman Reigns at Survivor Series amid his 25th Anniversary in the company to lay the foundation of the rumored dream match between the two cousins at Wrestlemania 38. The Rock never appeared in 2021, and now it is rumored that he would take his cousin at Wrestlemania 39 in Hollywood in 2023. If this is the plan in the works, he will surely appear late this year.

WWE in 2022: Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss disappeared from WWE right after the Extreme Rules PPV event in September 2021. She last locked horns with Charlotte Flair and got defeated by her in a Raw Women’s Championship match.
Since then, Alexa Bliss has taken an off from WWE, and her return isn’t predicted yet. However, with Royal Rumble PPV known for some massive returns, we could expect the former Women’s Champion to show up during the women’s Royal Rumble match and shock the WWE Universe.
