WWE Day 1: The New Day vs. The Usos- Smackdown tag-team Champions The Usos are all set to defend their coveted titles against one of the most decorated tag-teams of all time, i.e., The New Day at the WWE Day 1 PPV on January 1, 2022.
Both teams have been bitter enemies in the past and have a legacy of their own. The Usos are a 5-time Smackdown tag-team Champions, while the New Day has held the Blue tag-team belts a record seven times in their career.

WWE Day 1: Smackdown Tag-Team Championship
The match between these two teams didn’t come as a surprise as it was just a matter of time before Sir Kofi Kingston returned from his injury this past week on Friday Night Smackdown. The Usos, along with Roman Reigns, pummeled King Woods and Sir Kofi before forcing Woods to watch as they battered the right knee of Sir Kofi.
After that brutal assault, King Woods fought a lone battle against the Bloodline until the Survivor Series’ ultimate showdown between Roman Reigns & Big E. Sir Kofi Kingston is back now and already challenged The Usos to put their title on the line at the WWE Day 1 PPV, last week in a backstage segment on Friday Night Smackdown.
