WTC Final: ‘Tendulkar didn’t eat…’ TOP memes as fans trash Kohli & others for Oval horror show
Fans compare Virat Kohli's attitude to Tendulkar after flop show with bat in hand at WTC Final against Australia at Oval

WTC Final: social media is a harsh place as one failure, and fans start thrashing the players for the good things they have done before. Virat Kohli faced the wrath of it after he got out for just 14 runs in the ongoing World Test Championship Final (WTC) against Australia. Kohli’s yet another failure in the ICC knockout game did not impress netizens. Worst, fans also lashed out at RCB Superstar for eating and having fun with teammates after his dismissal.

Netizens compared Kohli’s failure to Sachin Tendulkar’s low score in the 2003 World Cup against Australia. In the summit clash, the Master Blaster could not post a big score, which resulted in India failing to win the World Cup. After that loss, Tendulkar did not eat for three days. One of the users shared that post of Tendulkar’s hurt after the loss, and also showed Kohli’s picture of eating after his dismissal.

WTC Final: India lose five wickets, Australia on top on day two of WTC Final

Not only Kohli but the rest of the top order batters Rohit Sharma, Pujara, and Gill were also dismissed for a low score. It was déjà vu of the 2019 World Cup, this time with Pat Cummins and Scott Boland running riot. While Jadeja and Rahane tried to rebuild the innings with a gritty 50-plus stand, India still are on the backfoot losing five wickets for just 151 runs.

Rohit Sharma and Co have still not avoided the follow-on. They need 119 runs to ensure Australia bat again. Rahane and Srikar Bharat are at the crease. With the ball starting to grip and turn also late from day two, Australia also have the option of unleashing Nathan Lyon continuously from one end.

Speaking about Australia, they will be looking to take early wickets on day three and try to inflict more misery on the Indians.
