WTC Final LIVE: Wasim Jaffer predicts India & New Zealand as joint winners in coded-tweet; check out : The murky weather conditions have overshadowed the ongoing World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand in Southampton and robbed spectators of a power-packed action. Almost all days of the play were interrupted by the unprecedented nature of weather conditions.
With New Zealand still playing their first innings on Day 4 and the days ticking down without any cricketing action, the WTC is likely to be shared as join winners between the two sides.

The veracity was put forth starkly by Wasim Jaffer in his recent Tweet. In his post, Jaffer combined the picture of Southampton’s rainy weather forecast along with a retro snap from the Bollywood movie which minced lyrics ‘Baant lenge hum aadha aadha’ (We’ll share half and half).
Jaffer’s snippet from an old Lata Mangeshkar song, succinctly predicted that India and New Zealand might have to accept a draw.
WTC Final: Can fans get one clear winner of the contest?
On a fair assessment, a conclusive result of a normal Test match with just two days left and with second innings remaining for each side doesn’t seem viable on practical grounds.
However, things can’t be precisely put out; especially the way tables have turned around in just sessions of Day’s play of WTC. Even after a solid start, Team India was bundled for just three sessions and staggered for 217 in the first innings.
As of now, the match stands stranded and even Day 4 is expected to be completely washed out by rain. Earlier, Day 1 was completely washed out while Day 2 and Day 3 were interrupted with phases of bad lighting.
Currently, the score remains the same as the end of Day 3- NZ 101/2, who now trail by 116 runs. ICC has already given a green signal for the use of the reserve day.
