WPL 2023 Title Sponsorship: After MEDIA RIGHTS & Teams tender, BCCI invites bids for Women Premier LEAGUE TITLE Sponsorship: Follow LIVE UPDATES

The BCCI has invited bids from reputed entities for acquiring the title sponsorship rights for Women’s Premier League Seasons 2023-2027.

The detailed terms and conditions governing the tender process including eligibility requirements, process for submissions of bids, rights and obligations of the title sponsor, etc. can be contained in the ‘Request for Proposal’ (RFP).

This RFP will be made available on receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh Only) plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax.

The procedure to procure the RFP documents is enlisted in Annexure A to this notice. The RFP will be available for purchase till February 9, 2023. 

Interested parties are requested to email the details of payment made for the purchase of the RFP to rfp@bcci.tv, as per the procedure laid down in Annexure A. It is clarified that the RFP documents shall be shared only upon the confirmation of payment of the non-refundable RFP fee.

ANNEXURE A – PROCEDURE TO PROCURE THE RFP DOCUMENTS

The RFP document can be purchased as per the following procedure:

A)If the purchasing entity is an Indian entity:

Payment of INR 1,00,000 + 18,000 (GST) i.e., Total INR 1,18,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh Eighteen Thousand Only) is to be made to the following bank account:

B)If the purchasing entity is a foreign entity:

Payment of INR 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lac Only) is to be made to the following bank account:

WIPL Teams Auction – Women IPL 2023: 3 IPL teams and two new entrants have splashed a combined Rs Rs 4669 Cr to bag five founding teams of Women’s IPL.

Adani Group after failing to land an IPL team last time out has finally entered Indian cricket with the highest bid of Rs 1,289 Cr. They will operate Ahmedabad franchise. Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are 3 IPL teams who will own WIPL teams as well. The other new entrant is Capri Global who own team in ILT20.

Reliance-backed Mumbai Indians was the 2nd highest bidder with Rs 912 Cr and will operate Mumbai franchise. Diageo-backed RCB will operate from Bengaluru after bagging the team for Rs 901 Cr. JSW-GMR-backed Delhi Capitals will operate Delhi franchise after splashing Rs 810 Cr. Capri Global has bagged Lucknow franchise for Rs 757 Cr.
