Wimbledon 2021: 5 players who can stop Novak Djokovic from equalling Nadal, Federer’s Grand Slam record- Novak Djokovic, who is having a dream year at Grand Slams in 2021, is chasing record equal 20th Grand Slam with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. The Serbian won the Australian Open and French Open to reduce his gap against the two legends of the game. He has also become only the first man on the planet to win all the grand slam titles twice after a gap of five decades.  Victory for the Serb took him alongside Roy Emerson and Rod Laver as the only men to capture the four majors more than once.

The 34-year-old will now be looking forward to leveling up with the Spanish superstar Nadal and Swiss Tennis Maestro Roger Federer.

All three players hold a dominant run in one of the grand slams. While Djokovic holds an edge over the Australian Open, Nadal and Federer are ahead in the game when it comes to French Open and Wimbledon respectively. Djokovic can now go on to reduce his deficit by winning the Wimbledon later this month. The tournament is slated to begin on June 28. Djokovic has won the tournament five times while Federer leads with 8 titles.

Federer has to overcome his recent failures in ATP events.

The Greek professional will be looking to avenge his defeat against Novak Djokovic in Wimbledon. The top seed had come back to win the final of the French Open 2021 in a five-set thriller. Fourth-seeded Tsitsipas will be looking to emulate his red-hot form in Wimbledon.

Fifth-seeded Dominic Thiem of Australia has also a better record against Djokovic. He has got the better of the Serbian in 5 out of 12 matches.
