WI vs AUS Dream11 Match Prediction, Fantasy Tips, Playing11, Captain, Vice-Captain for Windies vs Australia 3rd T20I – WI vs AUS Match Preview: The third T20I between Windies and Australia will be played at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia on Tuesday morning (IST).
Windies have taken a 2-0 lead in five matches series after registering back-to-back wins in the opening two fixtures and will be looking to gain an unassailable lead and seal the series.
With Pollard still out, Nicholas Pooran led the hosts once again in the second encounter. Put into bat, Windies got off to a fine start adding 46 runs in Powerplay on the back of L Simmons’ 30 off 21 deliveries before Shimron Hetmyer’s 61 off 36 balls and Dwayne Bravo’s unbeaten 47 off 34 helped the home side reach a good total of 196-4 on a good batting surface. In reply, the visitors lost both the openers cheaply within four overs. Coming at number 3, Mitch Marsh scored 54 off 42 and kept hold of one end but the wickets kept tumbling at the other end as Australia were bowled out for 140 in 19.2 overs, falling short by 56 runs.
Meanwhile, Australia needs to work and reflect on their middle-order batting woes as they have been bowled out in two T20Is on the trot. With the series on the line, the visitors need to bounce back stronger as there’s no room for making mistakes in the remaining three fixtures.
The match will start at 05:00 AM IST and will live stream on the FanCode app for the Indian audience.
