India go into the 2nd Test and the last game of their 2019 tour of the West Indies with the aim of completing a clean sweep and pocketing all 120 points from their inaugural ICC World Test Championship series. Hosts West Indies will be desperate to pull one back after the drubbing in the first Test.
India in the first Test at Antigua had outplayed the home team in all the four innings. The Caribbean batting had miserably failed to stand the test of some lethal new ball attack by Jaspreet Bumrah and Ishant Sharma.
However, that cannot not be enough to dismiss the challenge from this talented West Indians, who had twice crossed the 300-run mark to upset England and win the series earlier this year.
The Indian fans before the toss would also be keen to see whether seasoned pro Ravichandran Ashwin gets a chance and what will be team management’s call on Rishabh Pant, who on either side of the stumps has left a lot to be desired in the earlier Test. Rohit Sharma it seems will have to wait for a little longer for his next Test match.
The match at the Kingston, Jamaica, is scheduled to start at 7 pm, India time.
Fans can watch all the action from Jamaica on Sony Ten 1 and Sony Ten 1 HD with English commentary and on Sony Ten 3 and Sony Ten 3 HD with Hindi commentary. The feed will also be streamed LIVE on Sony’s OTT platform SonyLIV.
