Walsh was the only West Indian and the first pacer to take 500 Test wickets. He reached the milestone in 129 matches.

The first Englishman to take 500 Test wickets is James Anderson. The pacer from Lancashire took 129 matches to reach the feat.

Stuart Broad (ENG)

The last and slowest man to reach 500 Test wickets is Stuart Broad. The tall pacer needed 140 matches to reach the tally.
