Dr. Malone claimed that Uttar Pradesh managed the pandemic by giving patients with the coronavirus the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin during the December episode of the “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast. The virologist claimed, “They delivered early treatment as packages.” The virologist, well-known for his mRNA technology work, said, ” There were numerous agents present. The composition has not been made publicly known.”
“It was carried out in collaboration with the WHO (World Health Organisation). It was rumored that ivermectin was contained in such containers. The Indian government decided not to reveal the contents of the packages deployed in Uttar Pradesh. Still, there was a specific meeting between Biden and Modi,” he stated.

Joe Rogan took shots at the Uttar Pradesh government
After hearing this, Joe Rogan attacked the Indian government for keeping the world in the dark about its success story in Uttar Pradesh during the Coronavirus pandemic. Dr. Malone implied that despite the anti-helminthic medication being a part of national guidelines, the Indian government misled the US authorities about its use, which had successfully contained Covid-19 cases in UP.
According to a report in The Indian Express from May 12, 2021, “Uttar Pradesh was the first state in the country to initiate large-scale preventative and therapeutic usage of Ivermectin,” State Surveillance Officer Vikasendu Agrawal said.
