Over the past few months, Shakib’s off-field behavior have been the talk of the town. The year started with the southpaw being involved in an altercation with umpire during a BBL game. The all-rounder yelled at the umpire, before heading back to his fielding position. While Shakib was let off with a fine and a warning, the latest incident with the fan is sure not to go down well with BCB. Currently, Bangladesh are playing a three-match T20 series against England, and Shakib is leading the side.
Bangladesh won the first T20I, owing to a brilliant performance from the southpaw. He starred with the bat by scoring 75, which helped the hosts post 247. He then came back with the ball by picking up four wickets helping his team seal a 50-run win. With his four-wicket haul, Shakib Al Hasan also became the first Bangladesh bowler to pick 300 wickets in ODIs.
