Jubli expressed optimism about the growth of jiu-jitsu in India. Somewhat surprisingly, he credited piracy for initially helping to spread knowledge of jiu-jitsu in India. According to Jubli, as fighters like the Gracies released instructional videos and DVDs, pirated versions helped Indian jiu-jitsu gyms learn the techniques and share them with students.

While piracy is illegal and unethical, it allowed jiu-jitsu to gain exposure in India that it might not otherwise have received. As the sport has grown, more Indian fighters are training in jiu-jitsu and competing in events across the country. Jubli believes jiu-jitsu will continue to rise in India, especially with more Indian athletes like himself achieving success in international MMA competitions.

Meanwhile, Jubli has already become a role model for fighters in India. His contract with the UFC demonstrated that Indian martial artists have the talent to compete at the highest levels of MMA. And Jubli’s insights on the podcast provided an informative look at how jiu-jitsu and MMA have developed in India, as well as optimism for the bright future of martial arts in India.
