Wasim Akram Son: Tahmoor keen to make it big in MMA, Wasim ready to support his son’s passion
Unlike many fathers, Wasim has not enforced his decision on son Tahmoor to become a cricketer. Instead, the southpaw has allowed him to follow MMA and is supporting it. Tahmoor keeps sharing his videos and reels on Instagram about the fights and training sessions with opponents.
In one of the videos, Tahmoor can be seen doing some pad work. “Pad-work with The General Daron Cruickshank has me feeling sharp as a knife, I can’t wait to use these tools in the ring,” read the caption posted with the video.

Tahmoor is son Akram’s son with first Huma, who passed away in 2009. The former Pakistani cricketer later married Australian Shaniera Thompson in 2013 and is living Down Under. From the very beginning, Tahmoor was not inclined towards cricket and set sights only on becoming MMA fighter. Wasim is lending full support to his son and making sure he gets the best of equipments and coaches.
