By  creating the largest cricket ball mosaic Vodafone India celebrated its achievement of 2 crore customers in Gujarat and a decade of successful association with IPL.

According to a report in CelliT.in, Vodafone Gujarat Circle created the mosaic using 8700 cricket balls illustrating the iconic Vodafone logo and 2 crore figure. Vodafone’s cricket ball mosaic that won the Guinness World Records title was adjudicated and certified by Swapnil Dangarikar, Official Adjudicator, Guinness World Records.

A visibly elated Jayesh Gadia, Business Head- Gujarat, Vodafone India said, “It is a matter of great pride for all of us at Vodafone India to be recognized by the Guinness World Records for this innovative and unique feat by our employees. We are delighted to be Gujarat’s largest telecom network which keeps 2 crore urban and rural Gujaratis confidently connected on Vodafone SuperNet™.

This is not the first time Vodafone has entered the Guinness World Record books. In the past it created a world record is a result of Vodafone’s IPL activity – Vodafone Super Album

Vodafone invited fans to click a picture with their mascot, the much loved ZooZoo. Fans across 60 cities clicked and uploaded their pictures with Zoozoo. Following the stringent parameters set by Guinness World Records, over 75,000 photographs were collated in the specially created Online Album.
