Indian tennis star Sania Mirza appreciated the message sent out by Anushka Sharma and in response to the same she wrote, “This (heart emoji). Partners. Strength. Pride.”
The entire sports community of India came to a standstill when Kohli announced that he was stepping down as the skipper of the test team, following India’s 1-2 loss to South Africa in the current ongoing India tour of South Africa. Kohli has been the captain of the Test squad for 7 years, during which the Indian side reached the number one spot in rest rankings, alongside numerous iconic series victories both at home and away.

His wife Anushka Sharma too, wrote a heartfelt note praising the success of her husband, and how he had to overcome all the different struggles during his tenure as captain for the past 7 years.

Anushka took pride in stating how her man became more mature during this time and eventually became a much better human being.
