Tripura are the only team to come through the group stage to come unscathed, winning all five of their group games in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Tripura topped the Plate Division and will be hoping to match up to the big teams as they enter the knockout stages with the clash against Vidarbha. The North-Eastern state sealed a convincing nine-wicket win in their last game, beating Meghalaya in some style.
Vidarbha meanwhile finished second in Elite Group A, winning three of their five games. They were level on points with group leaders Himachal Pradesh but will have to go through the pre-quarters due to an inferior net run rate. Vidarbha also registered a fine victory in their last group game, beating Jammu & Kashmir by five wickets.
