UFC News round up: Francis Ngannou updates on Deontay Wilder fight
Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou won’t happen because the former is leaving the UFC, but another big fight is on the horizon for him. Deontay Wilder, a former heavyweight champion, and The Predator, according to The Predator, are now discussing a two-fight deal.
Ngannou claims that discussions with Wilder about a boxing match are still underway and that they want it to occur in Africa. “Because he is available, we are looking into it. He is ready for that. He’s looking forward to [a battle with me]. He desires it. So, we are investigating that. That makes me thrilled, to be honest. Even a conflict elsewhere and one in Africa were on the table for discussion. Why not at least one or two conflicts in Africa?” Ngannou spoke with TMZSports.
Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler clash detailed
Conor McGregor, a former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion, will compete against lightweight contender and current No. 5 ranked Michael Chandler in the upcoming TUF Season 31.
