UFC News round-up: Conor McGregor teammate Dillon Danis gets pummeled by Anthony Taylor in a street brawl
Dillon Danis hasn’t been active in his MMA career since 2019 but has been in the news all over for his controversial activities. After feuding with Nate Diaz at UFC 281, the Bellator fighter, more popularly knowns as Conor McGregor’s teammate, was punched at misfit-weigh in.

Danis primarily had a scuffle with KSI. Dillon Danis slapped the YouTuber which caused havoc chaos. However, both men were separated. It seemingly enraged Anthony Taylor, who is also an MMA fighter. ‘Pretty Boy’ Taylor chased Dillon Danis, who was walking away with no intentions of responding to Taylor. That’s when Anthony hit Dillon Danis and caused a massive street brawl. Here’s a look at the clip.

UFC News round-up daily: Khamzat Chiaev reveals why he is ‘mad’ with Israel Adesanya
Khamzat Chimaev was backing Israel Adesanya to beat Alex Pereira at the UFC 281 main-event. In a recent chat with ESPN, Chimaev expressed his views on wanting to face Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya, who are the former champions and were considered the best fighters in the UFC before their recent losses.
Hence, ‘Borz’ was favoring ‘Izzy’ over ‘Poatan’. That said, Alex Pereira spoiled Chimaev’s plans and snatched the middleweight crown from Israel Adesanya. Despite losing on the judge’s scorecard, Pereira utilized his skills and knocked out Adesanya in the fifth round.
Speaking about the fight, Khamzat Chimaev said, “I was thinking Israel has to win, he has to win. I was feeling like that. He [Israel Adesanya] has to win that fight. Who he gonna fight after that? But he lost the fight. So I don’t know what is he gonna do. When he lost the fight I was like mad.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov wasn’t in his cousin’s corner at Bellator 288 but was happy to watch Usman Nurmagomedov claim the lightweight title from Patricky ‘Pitbull’ Freire in the co-main event of Bellator 288. The fight lasted till the final bell, as both men had successful moments. However, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s cousin Usman was clearly the better man. He utilized his height, reach, and fighting skills to dominate ‘Pitbull’ throughout.

Usman Nurmagomedov comfortably earned a unanimous win with 50-45, 50-44, and 50-44 in all three judges score cards. Khabib Nurmagomedov reportedly connected with Usman Nurmagomedov via video call after the win.

Speaking with ESPN, Sterling said, “Sugar Sean sign the contract. That’s my guy, but there’s no contract though. I think he is the biggest guy. He is the most active and number one guy, former champion. So, I don’t see how you can back track.”
