Meanwhile, former UFC fighter Jake Shields was one of a number of celebrities who publicly criticized Ye when Ye was dropped by brands over his remarks. Following the UFC star’s mockery, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago declared on Thursday that Ye’s honorary degree had been retracted.

Following the American rapper’s confession that he loved Hitler and recognized some of his positive traits in a recent interview with Alex Jones on InfoWars, his comment infuriated fans to the point of fury, and it quickly picked up on.

The UFC fighter claimed that, in contrast to Kanye West, he had a positive attitude toward Jews, indicating that Ye’s comment was anti-Semitic. He stated the following.

Subsequently, on Thursday, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago stated that it had canceled the honors degree that had been awarded to Ye, in light of some of his most recent, contentious statements.

The school issued a statement saying that “anti-Black, antisemetic, racist, and dangerous statements, particularly those directed at Black and Jewish communities. Ye’s actions do not alight with SAIC’s mission and values, and we’ve rescinded his honorary degree. H/T: CBSN
