UFC 288: Dana White Explains Why Henry Cejudo Is Not a GOAT of MMA

In a recent interview with TMZ SPORTS, White stated that as long as Jon Jones is around, Cejudo cannot be considered the greatest UFC fighter of all time. Jones, who held the UFC light heavyweight title for over eight years and has never been defeated inside the Octagon, is widely regarded as one of the greatest fighters of all time.

While Cejudo’s confidence is admirable, many fans and experts believe that his claim to the GOAT title is premature. While his accomplishments in the sport are certainly impressive, they are still relatively limited compared to those of fighters like  Jones, for example, Jones has a record of 27 wins and one no-contest,

Despite these impressive credentials, however, Cejudo remains confident in his ability to surpass them. He has already achieved a great deal in his career, including Olympic gold in wrestling and two UFC titles in two different weight classes.

Regardless of whether or not Cejudo becomes the greatest fighter of all time, however, his contributions to the sport of MMA cannot be denied. He has shown himself to be a skilled and exciting fighter, and his presence in the Octagon is always a welcome one.

In the end, the debate over who is the greatest fighter in UFC history will likely continue for years to come. While Cejudo certainly has the potential to be included in this conversation, he will need to continue to prove himself against the best in the world in order to truly earn the title of GOAT.
