The UFC welterweight division champion, The Nigerian Nightmare, has an undefeated streak and is at the top of the Mixed martial arts spectrum.

The Nigerian nightmare is not a regular fighter. His striking dominance and his winning streak have elevated him to the level of the number one pound-to-pound fighter.

The reigning welterweight champion has been at the top of the food chain. Kamaru Usman receives regular call-outs from all other exceptional UFC fighters.

With a stunning record of straight 21 wins, he stands undefeated in UFC. He earned his name The Nigerian Nightmare due to his dominant win and giving nightmares to his opponents.

The Number one pound-to-pound fighter, Kamaru Usman, was out of the octagon for a while and waiting for his return, but his injury has been blocking him for a long period.

Finlay, The Nightmare is back on UFC 278 to fight his title against Leon Edwards.

Edwards, meanwhile, has also gone unbeaten since that first meeting in 2015 with a 9-0-1 mark. He returned from a lengthy layoff in March 2021 but delivered an accidental eye poke against Belal Muhammad that left his opponent unable to continue. Edwards returned in June 2021 to outpoint Nate Diaz in a fight that he controlled until the final round, where Diaz badly hurt Edwards with a right hand.

Meanwhile, Oliveira stands as the undisputed champion in the UFC. Even though he had his losses in his initial days in the UFC, his rise has been unstoppable. He got his title stripped due to weight issues on UFC 274. The former lightweight champion holds a fiery 11-win streak.

Eventually, Islam Makhachev has his eyes set on the vacant lightweight title. Makhachev possesses an incredible record of 22 wins and 1 loss. The loss happened initially lost in his carrier at UFC 192 against Adriano Martins. Makhachev has been undefeated since then.
