Italian giants faced Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv in the UEFA Champions League group stages at the Olympiskiy national sports complex on 20th October.
Juventus started the game strongly as they held more of possession while their opponents played on the counter. The Ukrainian keeper Bushchan was in action at the early stages as he pulled off a save from Chiesa.
The Italian side made an early substitution as Giorgio Chiellini made way for Merih Demiral. The veteran center-back picked up a hamstring injury, and the Turkish defender entered the field.
Pirlo’s men opened the scoring in the second-half as Alvaro Morata put his name on the scoresheet thanks to an assist from Kulusevski. The Spanish striker grabbed his second of the night after picking up a header from Cuadrado’s cross. The Ukrainian side won a freekick in the dying minutes and was almost close to scoring, but failed.
With this win, the Turin giants claim three crucial points and begin their excellent start to their European campaign under Andrea Pirlo.
