Despite the manager claiming he planned to stay, Hamann thinks the discord may lead Tuchel to leave. On German TV, Hamann stated: “When you treat people like this, you have to ask yourself: ‘Do you want to work for this club?’ I don’t think you can rule out Tuchel leaving soon too. But he’ll leave of his own accord.”

Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann as Bayern’s manager just in March. On the tense last day of the season, he guided the team to a thrilling Bundesliga victory that allowed them to take the championship from Borussia Dortmund. The dismissal of Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic from their respective positions as CEO and sports director, respectively, one day prior to the title win, has overshadowed the victory, though.
Following the weekend championship celebration, Tuchel did address the disorder off the pitch. At a gathering on Sunday in Munich’s Marienplatz, he urged “things to calm down” and for him and his players “to be able to focus on football.”
“We have enough to do,” said the former Chelsea boss. “We have to play faster, play better, play more consistently. We want to improve on all levels. We have to come back as a unit.”
