The development comes amid a delay in Visa approval that forced him to miss T20 Blast for Worcestershire.
As per a report from ESPNCricinfo, Lamichhane has been allowed in the UK on a Tier-5 visa. Thus, he is not allowed to play in The Hundred despite his 10-day quarantine at a government-approved hotel.

“At the moment, we’re unsure. I obviously heard that today and fingers crossed he can get here. It’s been a difficult time for a lot of players with the various restrictions and things around the world. Hopefully, that can get resolved [because] he’s a special talent. If not, back to the drawing board,” Sam Billings, the Invincles’ men’s captain was quoted as saying by ESPNCricinfo.
The report added that World No.1 t20 bowler Tabraiz Shamsi is likely to replace Sandeep Lamichhane.
Currently, Invincibles are likely to play only two (Sunil Narine and Colin Ingram}) of their allowed three overseas players.
