Border Gavaskar Trophy
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is a bilateral Test cricket series played between India and Australia. The series is played every two years, as per the International Cricket Council’s Future Tours Program.
The trophy has been in existence since 1996, and a total of 15 series have been played. India has emerged victorious on nine occasions, while Australia has managed to win four times, while one series has resulted in a draw. India has been holding the Border-Gavaskar Trophy since 2016–17.
