T20 WORLD CUP Ireland (IRE) Overview – Ireland will be making its sixth appearance in the T20 World Cup this time. Having failed to get past the group on four occasions, Andre Balbirnie led side will be looking to better their records in this campaign. They are placed in Group A and will face tough competitions against Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands. Namibia is the fourth team in Group A and Ireland would not be focusing much on that.
They looked good in the warmup matches, winning both of them convincingly against PNG and Bangladesh by 8 wickets and 33 runs respectively.

T20 WORLD CUP Netherlands (NED) Overview – Netherlands can be the dark horses in Group A. They have enjoyed success in the past, beating England twice in the 2009 and 2014 editions, and can take on any team on a given day. This will be the fourth appearance of the Netherlands in the global event and like Ireland, they too would be keen to finish in the top two spots in Group A and advance into the Super 12 round.
The Dutch had a mixed outing in the warmup matches, winning one and losing the other. They suffered 31 runs defeat against Scotland in the opening fixture but managed to bounce back and secured a narrow 4 runs win over the co-hosts Oman in the second game.
They have won seven of their 12 T20Is against Ireland that proves they have an upper hand over their opposition in the opening fixture tomorrow.
