The ICC T20 Men’s World Cup 2022 Qualifier ‘A’ matches will be played at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium (Ministry Turf 1 & 2) in Oman from February 18th to February 24th. The teams who will be playing in this tournament are Bahrain, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Nepal, Oman, Philippines and UAE. Group A will include Bahrain, Germany, Ireland and UAE. Whereas, Group B will include Canada, Nepal, Oman and Philippines.

Ireland and UAE are the favourites amongst the teams. A recently concluded quadrangular T20I series served as a preparation for some teams.
UAE finished at the top of that quadrangular series winning two from three games. Meanwhile, Ireland finished second again by winning two from three games. Oman were third in which they lost two games out of three.
