Snickers official chocolate of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games

Mars Wrigley’s brand Snickers has been named the exclusive supplier and official chocolate of Beijing 2020 Olympic Games.

The Mars Wrigley and Beijing Winter Olympics Organising Committee deal was announced in Beijing to make Snickers the exclusive supplier of chocolates for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Snickers has a long association with the Olympic movement as the chocolate brand had also been the official supplier for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, and 1988 Nagaon Winter Olympics as well 1992 Barcelona Summer Games.

“We believe that Snickers will continue to dedicate itself to supporting the Beijing 2022 Games with energy and passion,” said Yu Debin, Director General of Games Services Department at Beijing 2022.

“Together with Beijing 2022, Snickers will help engage millions of people in winter sports and bring joy and happiness to their life.” added Li Dou, One Demand General Manager of Mars Wrigley China.

Beijing 2022 Winter Games till date have signed 10 Official Partners, including Bank of China, Air China, Yili Group, ANTA, China Unicom, Shougang Group, CNPC, Sinopec Group, State Grid, and PICC Group. A total of seven Official Sponsors have been signed, including Tsingtao Beer, Yanjing Beer, Jinlongyu, Shunxin, Cultural Investment Holdings, Beijing Beiao Group and Heng Yuan Xiang. Five Official Exclusive Suppliers have also been signed, namely, EF Education First, iFLYTEK, China Post, Hylink and Snickers.

All the sponsors are Chinese brands except for Snickers and European brand EF Education First – the event’s Official Language Training Services Exclusive Supplier last August.
