The cricketer exchanged vows with his ladylove Mittali Parulkar in holy matrimony in Mumbai. The wedding was attended by some of the team India members. Taking to Instagram Thakur shared images from his marriage He captioned the post, “I learnt to appreciate your light, when I encountered your shadow!. In good times and in bad, in happy and sad, I promise to be by your friend, from now till the end!”.
Before the marriage, Shardul Thakur had a sangeet ceremony which was attended by Team India skipper Rohit Sharma, KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer and Abhishek Nayar. Recently video clips of Shardul Thakur’s haldi made their way to social media. The right arm pacer can be seen shaking his leg to some of the popular Bollywood numbers. The couple got engaged last year and were set to tie the knot after the T20 World Cup 2022 held in October last year. However, the marriage was postponed was a later date.
Speaking of Shardul Thakur’s better half Mitali is currently an entrepreneur. She has been operating the bakery since February 2020, and the business also has a website. At All the Jazz – Luxury Bakers, she deals in the sale of numerous sorts of cakes, cookies, bread, buns, etc., and she is successful in doing so. On Instagram, she has more than 5,000 followers.

What’s next for Shardul Thakur post marriage?
With no international commitments to look forward to Shardul will not focus on the upcoming IPL 2023 with his new team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).The all-rounder joined the two-time champions in a trade deal with Delhi Capitals (DC) ahead of the 2023 IPL auction. The Delhi-based franchise released him after just one season, having purchased him for Rs. 10.75 crore in 2022.
