Saand Ki Ankh: First look of Taapsee and Bhumi as ‘Shooter Dadis’

Versatile actress Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen playing the world’s oldest sharpshooters in the upcoming movie ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ (the bull’s eye).

The first-look posters of Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Saand Ki Aankh is out. Dressed in ghagra and shirt, Taapsee and Bhumi with their pistols are set to bring the story of Shooter Dadis to the big screen

The film is based on more than 80-year-old shooters, Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakshi Tomar from Uttar Pradesh’s Johri village in Baghpat district. The veterans had learned shooting sport at the age of 60 and won 700 medals till now.

Taapsee Pannu has shared the first look poster of Saand Ki Aankh n her Instagram handle. She wrote, “They challenged their age, fought their way and shot to fame in the shooting game. First Look Out Now. #SaandKiAankhThisDiwali.”

The Movie will be hitting the big screens on Diwali. The Anurag Kashyap production has also announced the release date of the movie along with the Poster release.

Producer Anurag Kashyap has shared another poster of the film on his official twitter handle and wrote, “Here it is bullseye Saand Ki Aankh.”

The slogans on the poster read, “Tann budha hota hai, mann budha nai hota” and “They broke out of their cage…At 60, they rose above their age…with 700 medals they became a rage…”
