Check out what Ronda Rousey Stated about WWE’s Women’s Division

Ronda Rousey recently appeared in an interview with The New York Post. During the conversation, Rousey shared her thoughts on the promotion’s women’s division.

Rousey said “Well, the lack of competition is really the problem…I mean, we want to be the most active champions out there. I want to be able to defend this title every week and even twice a week on both ‘SmackDown’ and ‘Raw.’ But with how dismally shallow the women’s division is right now, there’s not enough women around here to keep us busy for a month. And so that’s the biggest challenge that we have is to get this company to actually care and invest into this tag division.”

Recently the women’s division has suffered some blows. The former women’s Tag team champion, Liv Morgan recently suffered an injury and has been absent since then. So is the case with Dakota Kai, who has been absent from WWE television owing to a knee injury.

The Fatal Four-Way Match for the Tag Team Titles took place between Bayley and IYO Sky, Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green, Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi, and Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.

The match began with Ronda Rousey, Chelsea Green and Raquel Rodriguez. Bayley tagged in and Raquel delivered a bodyslam to Bayley. She then took down Shayna Baszler. Following that, Chelsea Green took control and attacked both Ronda Rousey and Raquel Rodriguez. Meanwhile, Shotzi jumped onto Rousey, who locked in the armbar and Shotzi tapped out.

With that, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
