The International Tennis Federation and Kosmos Tennis have announced the renewed sponsorship deal with luxury Swiss watchmaker Rolex for the Davis Cup by BNP Qualifiers and Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Finals.

“Rolex plays a fundamental role in tennis, both as a sponsor and as official timekeeper, marking performance and progress from season to season across the sport and accompanying players in their pursuit of excellence. We are proud to be associated with Rolex and are grateful for their continued commitment to our sport,” said David Haggerty, ITF President.

“The Davis Cup is without doubt one of the great pillars of tennis, with a rich heritage dating back to 1900. It has produced some of the most epic matches in the sport’s history and enshrines all that we love about the sport – respect for the rules, a sense of fair play and a team spirit that enables players to set aside individual pursuits to compete for the glory of their country. Rolex is proud to renew its alliance with the world’s premier men’s team competition as part of our support for tennis that stretches back more than 40 years and is based on a shared commitment to performance excellence and upholding the finest traditions,” said Arnaud Boetsch, Communication and Image Director, Rolex SA.

The long-standing association between Rolex and tennis dates back to 1978 when Rolex became the Official Timekeeper of The Championships, Wimbledon. Today, the brand is a major force behind tennis’ finest events, players and organisations. From Grand Slams to Davis Cup and for many of the top tennis stars, Rolex has cultivated a privileged relationship with this great sport.
