The Naupang League strives to strengthen local ecosystems and provide opportunities for young, gifted football players as young as 5 years old to compete and gain experience. Moreover, encouraging more children to participate and play regularly all year long will help develop India’s grassroots football talent.

Four venues in Mizoram are hosting the RFYC Naupang (Children) League, which has two different league structures. The leagues in Lunglei and Kolasib are being hosted by the Mizoram FA and District FAs thanks to RFYC, while 2 Leagues in Aizawl and Champhai are being run by Reliance Foundation Young Champs.

The various game types are divided into age groups starting at Under 5 and going all the way up to Under 13 years. Each player will play a minimum of 30 games. The four leagues will run concurrently from November to June 2023. The programme is a component of a wider campaign by the Reliance Foundation to develop soccer in the area.
A platform for young athletes to create a career in the sport by providing opportunities . RF Youth Sports (RFYS), a school and college sports development programme, has been operating in Mizoram since 2017. More than 2000 school and college-aged youth are taking part in football leagues in Aizawl, Champhai, Lunglei, and Kolasib during the current 2022 season of RFYS.
