Ranji Trophy 2023 – Who are in contention for place in Quarterfinals?
- Group A: Bengal (25) and Uttarakhand (23) occupy top 2 spots in Group A. Baroda (17) are third with 17 points. But Bengal with 17 points are still in the fray.
- Group B: Saurashtra and Mumbai have the upper hand. Saurashtra are on top with 26 points, followed by Mumbai with 23.
- Group C: Karnataka boosted their chances with a big win. They are on top with 26 points. Kerala (19), Jharkhand (16) and Rajasthan (14) are fighting for the 2nd spot from Group C.
Group D: Defending champions Madhya Pradesh have an all-win record with 32 points. They have sealed their place in the quarterfinals. Punjab (19), Railways (14) and Gujarat (14) are fighting for the remaining spot.

KAR vs RAJ: Karanataka continued its good run in the Ranji Trophy as they defeated Chhattisgarh by seven wickets. Their senior batters including Manish Pandey and the skipper Mayank Agarwal are in good touch and will look to give a match-winning effort with the bat. On the other hand, Rajasthan played out a draw against Jharkhand.
MP vs GUJ: Defending champions, Madhya Pradesh continued their winning streak by defeating Gujarat in their last game. They are currently placed at the top of their group as they have won their all five games. With that, MP have confirmed their place in the knockouts.
