Radico Khaitan to sponsor inter-state national athletics championships

Radico Khaitan Limited has partnered with the prestigious 59th National Inter State Seniors Championships 2019, being organised by PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, UP Athletics Association (UPAA) and Athletics Federation of India (AFI) from August 27 to 30 at PAC Athletics Stadium, Lucknow.

The four-day championships will feature over 600 athletes from across the country besides other entries from countries like Sri Lanka, Maldives, Iran, Kazakhstan and Bhutan.

The competition will be held in 22 events in both groups for men and women.

The championships offer an opportunity to the Indian athletes to qualify for the IAAF World Championships in Doha (Qatar) from September 27 to October 6.

Who is who of Indian athletics like Hima Das (400m), Dutee Chand (200m), Sudha Singh (3000m), Jinson Johnson (800m), Harpal Singh (Steeplechase), Tejender Singh (Shot put), Mohd Anas (400m), Shiv Shankar (Long Jump) and Shiv Pal Singh (Javelin) will be seen in action during the four-day meet.
