Puneeth Rajkumar passes away: Famous Kannada film actor Puneeth Rajkumar has reportedly passed away at the age of 46 on Friday. He suffered a massive heart attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead. The hospital officials said that Puneeth was critical and tried their best to save him but failed in their attempt. Notably, Puneeth was the youngest son of legendary Kannada actor Rajkumar.

Puneeth is fondly called ‘Appu’ by his fans. He started his career as a child artist with his father in the early 1980s. ‘ Raam’, ‘Hudugaru’, and ‘Anjani Putra’ are some of his memorable movies. He was last seen in ‘Yuvarathnaa’, which was released early this year.
Since his death, a lot of famous personalities including sportspersons have poured in condolences on social media.
Sehwag said he was saddened and his death comes as a big blow to Indian cinema.
