Chamari Athapaththu was the star performer for the Super Women. She became the first centurion in the league. But she could help her team get over the line as the other batters failed to provide her enough support.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Danni Wyatt and Eyman Fatima gave the Amazons good start. The pair reached 50-run stand in no time. Wyatt was particuarly impressive scoring 43 runs from just 20 balls. However both the players were dismissed in quick succession.

Then, captain Bismah Maroof carried on the momentum as she slammed her second successive half-century in the tournament. Maia Bouchier and Fatima Sana too provided support in the end as they helped the team post 218 on the board. Bismah Maroof remained unbeaten with 51 runs.
Super Women began the chase on a positive note with Athapaththu taking charge. However the Amazons managed to pick wwickets at regular intervals and put pressure on the Super Women. Athapaththu waged a lone battle as she brought up her century off 57 balls. However the required run rate kept climbing up and the Super Women suffered 33 run defeat.
