Sameen Rana and Atif Rana – owners of Qalandars gave the trophy to Shaheen’s family members alongside his brother Riaz Afridi and father.
But they were not alone, they were accompanied with few hundred Afridi & Lahore Qalandar fans.

As soon as the trophy arrived in his hometown, Shaheen took to Twitter and said, it was the “best feeling ever” to see the trophy in the hands who have raised him and sacrificed a lot.

The left-arm pacer was overwhelmed by this wonderful gesture from Qalandars and thanked the team. He also added the entire village were also extremely happy.

Qalandars finally managed to break the trophy drought when they defeated Multan Sultans in the final of PSL 7 by 42 runs. Shaheen led the team superbly with the ball in hand and was also street smart with his captaincy moves.
Shaheen Shah Afridi sizzles for Qalandars
- Afridi took 20 wickets and topped the smart wickets tally
- 12 of the 20 wickets Shaheen took were of the top three batters
- Afridi was the fourth-highest wicket-taker in PSL 7
- Became the first captain to win the trophy for Qalandars
- Also became the youngest captain to win T20 Trophy
