Mohit Goyat (14 points) and Aslam Inamdar (11 points) ensured Jaipur had no opportunity to make a comeback despite Arjun Deshwal’s best efforts. Gujarat Giants beat U Mumba : A collective performance helped Gujarat Giants outwit U Mumba 36-33 to seal a place in the play-offs and in the process knock out Jaipur Pink Panthers from Pro Kabaddi League here on Saturday. Raider Rakesh S was the star for two-time finalists Gujarat. He scored a Super 10 (13 points) and ensured the Giants had an early lead in the match. The experienced defence then guarded the team to secure an important victory.
Patna Pirates beat Haryana Steelers: Haryana Steelers’ campaign in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 came to an end as they lost their last league game to Patna Pirates 27-30 on Saturday. With the top 5 spots sealed. Haryana had to seal a victory in the game to advance to the qualifiers as the sixth team. Defender Jaideep picked up a High 5 while raider Ashish picked up 8 points. However their efforts were not enough to clinch victory against a strong Patna Pirates outfit, who finished the league stage on top of the table.
