PKL 2022: Jaipur Pink Panthers clinched their second title in the Pro Kabaddi League. The Men in Pink defeated a spirited Puneri Paltan in the final of the ninth edition of the league on Saturday, 17th December 2022. Most Valuable Player of the Season – Arjun Deshwal
Arjun Deshwal played a crucial role in Jaipur Pink Panthers’ victory this season. The raider has racked up the maximum raid points in the league. He has scored 296 raid points from 24 matches this season. He also has 17 Super 10s to his name, which is the most by any player in this edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. Arjun’s contributions has played a very major role in helping the Panthers enter the final in this edition of the league.

Best Raider – Bharat
Featuring in just his second season in the league, Bharat gave a terrific performance in the raiding department for the Bengaluru Bulls. He emerged as the team’s top raider with 282 raid points to his name. This helped him earn the best raider of this season award.

Best Defender – Ankush
Debutant Ankush is one of the finds of the season. The youngster, featuring f0r the Jaipur Pink Panthers challenged all the top raiders with his amazing tackling skills. Playing in his maiden season, he scored 86 tackle points. This is the most by any player in the ninth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. He was duly awarded the best defender of the season.
New Young Player – Narender Hoshiyar
Tamil Thalaivas’ Narender Hoshiyar is another find of the season. Playing in his maiden Pro Kabaddi League season, the youngster had to fill in the shoes of Pawan Sehrawat after the latter was ruled out due to injury. The youngster did the job to perfection as he picked up 243 raid points in just 23 matches. His performances helped him finish as the fourth best raider in the league. He also was deservedly awarded the new young player award.
