At stumps, New Zealand’s score reads 157/5– still trailing by 207 runs. Colin de Grandhomme (54*) and Daryl Mitchell (29*) are currently at the crease. After bundling out Proteas for 364, New Zealand got off to a bad start as Tom Latham (0) and Will Young (3) were scalped cheaply by Kagiso Rabada and this brought Devon Conway and Henry Nicholls at the crease.

Earlier, resuming Day 2 at 238/3, Proteas managed to add 126 runs to the total before being bowled out. Neil Wagner returned with four wickets while Matt Henry took three wickets.

New Zealand Struggle in 2nd Test: Kiwis have lost wickets of Tom Latham (0), Will Young (3), Devon Conway (16), Henry Nicholls (39), Tom Blundell (6) without adding too much to the total.

Rabada has picked 3 wickets & Jansen has chipped in with 2.

South Africa all out for 364: Earlier a clinical bowling performance from Neil Wagner and Matt Henry helped the home team to wrap Proteas 1st innings for 364.

New Zealand fought their way back into the Test match with five wickets for 45 runs.

But a 62-run ninth-wicket stand between Keshav Maharaj and Marco Jansen took South Africa over 350. Maharaja scored very valuable 36 while Jansen stayed unbeaten on 37.

For Kiwis, Wagner picked 4 and first test hero Henry scalped three wickets.

The Proteas earlier had ended Day 1 on 238/3 courtesy of a century from Sarel Erwee, as they look to bounce back and clinch some important World Test Championship Points away from home.
