Nepal cricket hosts big T20 cricket extravaganza, Where and how to watch, schedule, teams: The series has gained sponsorship from a prominent brand and is now known as ‘Bajaj Pulsar Tri-nation T20I Series’. A large number of sponsors have also associated themselves with the event.
Nepal tri-series: Venue

The setting of the tournament would be the picturesque Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in the beautiful city of Kirtipur, near the capital city of Kathmandu. The tri-series gets underway on April 17 and concludes with the final on April 24.

The Nepalese team for the series was announced recently and includes Sandeep Lamichhane, the young leggie who has become a star in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Nepal cricket team will be led by Gyanendra Malla.

The Dutch team, which has twice defeated its neighbours England in World T20 tournaments, will be captained by Pieter Seelar. Malaysia will have Ahmed Faiz as their captain. The two foreign teams arrived in Nepal on April 13. The tournament will feature two rounds of matches, each team playing the two others twice, before the final.

While Nepal cricket team regularly makes an appearance in ICC U19 World Cups and has seen some of its players taking part in major T20 leagues around the world, Netherlands has been appearing on the global stage quite often. Malaysia is the relative dark horse in this contest but even it has a history in the cricket world.
