NBA Trade Rumors: 3 Inexpensive Players the Golden State Warriors should keep an eye out for

NBA Trade Rumors: While cheap players come through trades with a high-risk, high-reward scenario, they will be exactly the kind of players the Golden State Warriors should keep on their watchlist this NBA offseason.

The Warriors are working with a very limited amount of money that could go toward free agents. Some of the great examples of cheap, high-risk, high-reward players are Cameron Payne and Reggie Jackson.

The Denver Nuggets signed Austin Rivers, who filled in nicely for Jamal Murray. And the Clippers added a revitalized Nic Batum.

NBA Trade Rumors: Josh Hart

Hart and Soul: Josh Hart has emerged as New Orleans Pelicans best reserve and he's a keeper - The Bird Writes

Josh Hart is a restricted free agent, making his availability even more dismal. Fortunately for the Warriors, on the list of the Pelicans’ offseason priorities, keeping Hart isn’t No. 1.

With the Pelicans experiencing a bitter season, a lot of changes could be on the horizon.

Hart hit 32.6 percent from three this season, including 28 percent from the corner. However, his shooting slowdown didn’t actually feel like a genuine, long-term issue.

NBA Trade Rumors: Talen Horton-Tucker

The urban legend of Talen Horton-Tucker won't stop growing - Silver Screen and Roll

Just like Hart, the Lakers’ youngster is not an unrestricted free agent, but could find himself in a position to move around the league.

Horton-Tucker displayed brilliant performances in the NBA preseason against the Clippers with LeBron James and Anthony Davis unavailable but failed to make an impact in the regular season.

Dennis Schroder and Alex Caruso are at the top of the Lakers’ to-do list when it comes to re-signing players. Wesley Matthews, Andre Drummond, and Montrezl Harrell also are priorities.

NBA Trade Rumors: Otto Porter

Why Otto Porter Jr. is the Most Important Bull - On Tap Sports Net

On paper, Porter is the perfect target for the Warriors as he can substitute Andrew Wiggins. He’s a sizeable wing who can play small and power forward who can knock down 3s.

This season, he strived to find consistency. It is hard to assess what his market value is around the league. He’s a player who has $124 million in his career, but he’s not there anymore. But he’s also not going to make just $2 million.

This will be a critical factor in deciding if the Warriors can go after him.
