NBA schedule 2020-21: The tentative schedule for the NBA’s opening night TNT doubleheader on December 22 will see the Nets host the Warriors, followed by the Lakers and Clippers facing off in Los Angeles, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.
All four teams are scheduled to be in action on Christmas Day as well, with the Warriors visiting Milwaukee, the Nets playing in Boston, the Lakers hosting the Mavericks, and the Clippers playing in Denver.
However, the two opening night matchups are arguably more intriguing than those December 25 games.

NBA’s decision to start the new season pre-Christmas was approved. The league wanted to keep its broadcasters happy and this way both Turner and ESPN will get to start the new season on a Tuesday and play 5 fixtures on Christmas Day.
