NBA 2020-21: Klay Thompson was set to miss the NBA 2020-21 season after he suffered an injury to his lower leg.

He went through some tests in order to determine the severity of the injury as he was unable to put weight on his leg as he left the gym.

This news came after the Golden State Warriors picked James Wiseman as their 2nd pick in the NBA Draft 2020.
Things look bright for Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors:
Klay Thompson underwent surgery to repair his torn Achilles. The Warriors are hoping for a quick recovery.
He missed the last season along with the All-Star guard Steph Curry due to injuries. He averaged 21.5 points on 46.7 percent shooting with 3.8 rebounds per game for the Warriors during the 2018-19 season.

The Golden State Warriors also signed Kelly Oubre to fill in for Klay Thompson. With a lottery pick in the NBA Draft 2020 and the All-Star Steph Curry back from injury, Golden State was eyeing the NBA Championship again.
If Klay Thompson makes it back in time even for the partial season, it will strongly improve the Warriors’ chances to bring back the NBA Championship to San Francisco.
