Barcelona steamrolled Napoli to move into the next round after a stunning performance in Italy. They stormed into the lead in the eighth minute after Adama Traoré carried the ball up the pitch from a Napoli corner before playing in Jordi Alba to fire low past Alex Meret.
Frenkie de Jong curled a sublime effort in from 25 yards to give his side a two-goal cushion but Lorenzo Insigne halved that from the penalty spot after Victor Osimhen had been fouled.

Gerard Piqué extended Barça’s two-goal advantage right on half-time with a low shot which kissed the far post on the way in before the tie was put to bed 13 minutes into the second half.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang curled home from 12 yards out to add his fourth goal in two appearances after being set up via more good work from Traoré. Mauro Politano caught Barcelona trying to play out from the back to drill home a consolation goal three minutes from time but Xavi’s side held on to book their place in the last-16.
