Currently Maharashtra is second on the table behind already qualified Saurashtra with 26 points. Mumbai are third with 23 points but only the winner can overtake Saurashtra’s points tally. If the Mumbai vs Maharashtra match ends in a draw and Mumbai ends up taking the first innings lead both teams will end up with 26 points.
In such scenario, Maharashtra will be knocked out as they have zero bonus points, whereas Saurashtra and Mumbai have two each. However if Saurashtra lose their last match and the match between Mumbai and Maharashtra ends in tie, then Maharashtra will top the group with 28 points with Saurashtra and Mumbai level on 26 points each. Even in that case, Saurashtra will pip Mumbai, having beaten them in their head-to-head meeting.

How will the standing be decided in case of a tie
- The team with more bonus points will be ranked higher.
- If it’s still a tie, the team with more wins will get precedence.
- In case the result are decided on head-to-head basis then only wins will count
- If the teams still cannot be separated, the one with the higher run quotient will go further
