TATA Mumbai Marathon 2018 has introduced a new race category, the Timed 10K run. The registrations begin on 17th August, 2017, Thursday, and closes on 30th November, 2017, or earlier if the running places are filled, according to a Tata Mumbai Marathon Press release.
This limited seat category is applicable for participants above 15 years of age and is via charity only. The 15th edition of Asia’s prestigious marathon with prize money $405,000 will flag-off on Sunday, 21st January 2018.
To encourage, young aspiring runners, within the 10K category, there are a limited number of running places reserved for applicants, between 15 and 18 years of age. The charity criteria will not be applicable to this section and these running places will be accepted on first come first served basis via online registration at www.tatamumbaimarathon.procamrunning.in.
The Women Runner Criteria is for all the women participants, who do not have a timing certificate and are eager to get started with running, a limited number of seats are also reserved for them via charity. The application form for charity running places will be available with the NGOs that are registered with the event’s Philanthropy Partner, United Way Mumbai.
The Dream Run registrations will open on 29th August, 2017, from 10 am and close on 31st August 2017 or earlier if the running places are filled.
The registrations for the Senior Citizens’ Run and the Champions with Disability Run will open on 1st September 2017 and close on 9th September 2017, or as soon as running places are filled, whichever is earlier.
