Senthil Kumaran Selvarajan, Mr India and a promising bodybuilder passed away due to Covid-19. The Indian athlete has joined a long list of sportspersons who have lost the battle against the deadly disease. According to reports, he suffered a heart attack.

Hailing from Tamil Nadu, Senthil won Mr India and was placed second at the Sheru Classic in 2013. He possessed a chiselled physique and was well respected in the Indian bodybuilding circuit. He was one of the future flag-bearers for India at the international stage.

Senthil Kumaran Selvarajan was an active social media user and did his best to motivate his followers.  While achieving his status of Mr. India, seeing that he had ambitions of taking his career to the next level just makes his passing all the more sad.

Senthil Kumaran Selvarajan is now survived by his wife and son.
