Buttler has been in a phenomenal form, having already scored two hundreds and two fifties for Rajasthan Royals this season. His last century came in the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders. The opener continued from where he left off as he dispatched the Delhi bowlers to all corners of the stadium on Friday.
- Buttler’s outstanding hitting saw him score 116 off 65 deliveries, with nine fours and nine sixes.
- It also helped the team post 222/2 in 20 overs, which is the highest total of the season so far.
- This is Buttler’s fourth century in IPL and is also his highest-score in the league.
- With the knock, Buttler has now scored four centuries in his last eight innings for Rajasthan Royals.
Before Buttler, Virat Kohli was the only batsman who has scored more than two centuries in the history of the league. Infact, Kohli went on to score four tons in the 2016 edition of the IPL.
